Borgo di Capannole is a realization of a dream. a young creative couple in there 30s perusing a clear vision for a better future. Soon the two became three and together the family have hosted generations of students, families , artists & Artisans.
It has been 40 years since the original dream.
Today the family has expanded and there are a few tinny feet running and playing around the house. and Even here between the endless green of the toscan perfect view we know that the times are changing . We are facing the climate changes, social confusion and our own feelings ranging from deep fear to great hope for the future .we look at our kids and realize just how important this place is .
Our mission in Borgo di capannole is to cultivate skills that keep us in an intimate connection with our environment (human & natural ) we offer to do so throw skill share & hosting of events / workshops.

The borgo family
We are a small family of 5, living & running the Borgo;
Stefan ( babbo, musician, carpenter, designer & artist)
Roi ( mama, eco-gardener, cook, tui-na healer & artist )
Aviv ( Big brother, inventor, Forest Guardian, student)
Yuval ( little sister, mini gardener, beautiful sunshine) Vittorina ( nonna - Grandma, artist, gardener )
We have recently joined Vittorina in the Borgo after a long journey around the world.
This days you can fined us running up and down the beautiful landscape around the house gardening ,
Roi is pruning, sawing and working on a new permaculture design for the gardens and at the same time maintaining the old wine and admiring the dance of the tall cypresses.
Stefan is busy in the old magical carpentry designing and creating a new generation of furniture to feet the timeless design of Rudi Roslmair the first dreamer.
Trying to keep up with modern communication - social media and creating this website one page at a time .
Vitorina is holding everything together, spending time with Aviv and Yuval. showing them the flowers and the stones and Wisper all the stories of old in there young ears.
We are working hard to prepper everything we can and are very exited to meet old and new guests - friends this summer.
